Westphal overpopulated, UArts refugees to be deported on sight

On March 19, Drexel University announced a new policy regarding former students of the University of the Arts who had transferred to the Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts and Design after its unfortunate demise. The policy will deport all UArts refugees on sight in an attempt to deal with the overpopulation issues of Westphal.

While the administration stated the policy is to protect resources and maintain class sizes, some speculate that the refugees flocked to Westphal to maintain their silly little majors, and that Drexel is concerned a large number of art students will hurt their alumni employment and salary statistics.

Drexel has also created a new department to track and remove the interlopers from our glorious university. The Drexel Admission and Collection Enforcement will also be removing students who fail to pay their tuition. ACE will have the authority to search dorms, audit lectures and physically restrain “students” who resist removal.

ACE has garnered a negative reputation among certain parts of the student body as the fear of potential raids rises. ACE also posted a video on X captioned “ASMR: UArts Refugee Removal” which had a mixed reception as some found it cruel while others found it funny.

The wordless video features shots of agents wearing ACE windbreakers and aviator sunglasses walking restrained refugees out of the Westphal building to the sounds of dangling chains and handcuffs being tightened.

Some, however, are glad to see the removal of the refugees as Tyronne Thompson, a second-year Product Design student, shared “These goddamn UArts kids, taking my registration spots and stealing my classes, I want to see them all deportated out of my school.”

Drexel has not shared how long ACE will be an active department, but it can be assumed they are here to stay.
