Q: What inspires your sense of style?
A: I mean, I like, really love fashion, and it speaks to me so much. So I just let it speak to me, and I listen. Like, I woke up this morning and I had to go to this really dumb early class, it’s at like, 10 a.m., and this is sooo comfy and chic. Do you see the rhinestones? Also, this year’s Pantone Color of the Year is Orchid, so it’s like the fashion universe was telling me to wear this.
Q: What’s your favorite piece in your closet?
A: My yoga pants, obvi! They’re such a staple; they go with anything! I can wear them to class with my Birkenstocks and my boyfriend’s sweatshirt. Of course I’m not a grimy slob so I never leave my apartment without a full face of makeup. I hate when girls go to class without any makeup on. It’s like, would it kill you to make an effort?
Q: What new trends are you excited to try this upcoming spring season?
A: I always love new trends, and honestly I’m usually the first of my friends to wear the newest thing. I’m kind of a trendsetter in my group of people. Florals are like, really big this spring, so I’m totally going to be wearing a lot of that.

Q: How would you describe your personal style?
A: I have an old soul, and I’m actually pretty sure I’m a reincarnation of Janis Joplin. She speaks to me in my dreams, and I’m never one to upset the balance of a dream aura, so I just channel it.
Q: Where do you find your inspiration?
A: I actually have my own blog, RunningInAFieldOfDaisiesInCutoffShorts.blogspot.com, and the blogging community is so inspiring. We’re all so open, sharing our souls and our spirits through this magical network, and allowing others to be inspired by my art is so fulfilling.
Q: You mentioned you’re an avid concertgoer. Do you have plans to attend any music festivals this year?
A: All of them, actually. I met this man at a peace bonfire last month who inherited his uncle’s Volkswagen van after he was sentenced to jail time. We’re going to travel across the country, starting at Firefly and ending at Coachella. I’m also selling my flower crowns on the road; this will be a great way for my business to expand nationally.

A: Wait, what? Hahaha. I love tacos, man.
Q: Are you lucid? Do you need me to take you home?
A: Yo man, I’m just following my destiny. I’m a taco on the inside. My soul is a taco, so I thought, “Why not just be a taco on the outside, too?” Everything comes full circle.
Q: Well that means you can’t eat tacos, right? Because that seems like it would be a form of cannibalism.
A: AW NO! MAN, I TOTALLY ATE A CUCINA ZAPATA TACO FOR LUNCH! I’M A MONSTER, A MONSTER!!!
